Dear Owen

I don't know if you know Geoff Carey, but he recently sent me some excellent photographs that you took of a Brown Shrike at Po Toi in Hong Kong on 24 September 2006. I have written a short article on the identification of Brown Shrikes for a magazine in Britain called 'Birdwatch' and I was wondering if it would be possible to use one of your photos? It's the one slightly back-on on a small twig. The magazine pays £15 for any photographs used. We had a controversial shrike here in Britain in October and I am writing a short piece on its identification.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes
